Blonde Ramblings
From blonde ramblings! Good and Pure Prairie style: This H – Brace holds a vision of the prairie.

Not the prairie, but if it were the prairie, life a person might envision would be dusty lands with tumbling tumbleweeds. Dusty shacks with curtains billowing in the open windows, sagging under layers of milk paint and maybe peeling wallpaper. Winters might look a little like the frozen snow-covered lands with little to no inhabitants moving around except for slow streams of smoke coming from the chimney. Why did I post this? Just random thoughts while out and about around my place and looking for inspiration.

The tumbleweed is evocative of the sweeping prairies and the wild west and is well known to the Great Basin Desert. A tumbleweed all in its natural rustic texture. Yes, and there was a time that, that tumbleweed was in my house!
A Little Blooming Moment
A little blooming moment – Bed-side roses. To entertain and romance your life with countryside rural romance even if you have to buy your own flowers. You might have noticed that my nightstands are not nightstands. They are simple stools that do not match. I definitely don’t have the matchy-matchy look. I’ve had to collect! Things are a bit of a mix and mingle over here. So, when I can, I like to add a small stack of books & flowers to accompany the lamp. When I’m not taking photos, you might find a phone charger as well. My mission is to inspire beauty even in the imperfect.

No bed-side table is complete without flowers. This was the easiest arrangement done with spray roses in a candle votive. This just makes your home feel like home.
Things I Like to Collect
I like to collect pretty blue and white mugs with sweet country scenes on them. These designs take me back to my childhood when my mom would cut fresh flowers from her garden and use cute coffee mugs for vases and have them all over the house for a pop of pretty. She always grew the best flowers. I’m bringing Spring beauty to winter with a mug of posies on a favorite gifted novel (a gift from my sister) written by the cowboy Will James.

I aspire to create a place that welcomes, loves and envelopes, creates comfort, and intentional beauty. Remember, your home is your sanctuary! So, create your home to nurture you and enrich your life. Surround yourself with things that make you happy – like a sweet mug filled with flowers.
Gratitude Journal
I was recently given the 5-day assignment to document all the things that The Lord – God has helped me with daily. What are 5 things that I am grateful for everyday? What are some affirmations or things on your gratitude list that you have found joy in on good days and bad days?
- First on my gratitude list is that the Lord woke me up.
- A warm home
- Food on the table

Let’s take a country walk for inspiration and maybe do a bit of Journaling to document your thoughts and gratitude of how the Lord has helped you in your daily life.
If you don’t like this post, I promise to do better, just stick around.
