A Season for Pink
You know that for everything there is a season. For me it is a season for pink. I’m fully loving my pink season! You can call it pink, blush, rose, rose’, salmon, and shell pink. Does it matter? When spring arrives, I like to freshen my home with shades of pink for just that, freshness. For a romantic home in February, I like to add some soft touches of pink.

Touches of Pink to Welcome You!
I am always so inspired by rooms that are decorated in pink whether bold or simple touches pink bring a feminine and sweet feel to any space. Maybe it should be a pink and white forsythia & apple blossom wreath on your front door to welcome visitors. Spring is just around the corner – 5 weeks away. The faux forsythia wreaths and bouquets are currently making their way to store shelves everywhere. Why not decorate your spring entrance with something pretty and pink. Maybe a pretty pink and white wreath.

Touches of Pink Around the Home
Entertaining – I love setting beautiful tables. Anywhere and everywhere. How I begin… Pick a color scheme! When setting the table for a springtime brunch, I love a fresh color palette of white, greens, and soft pink. Everything from the plates to the pink glasses and napkins echo this color palette. Flower arrangements of lilies and pink roses line the center of the table and tie it all together. So pretty for a season of pink.

Pink Roses in a Wooden Box
Romantic pink roses in a favorite wooden box. I think it’s okay to romance your home, and you can do this by adding those touches of pink. Start off slow by adding pink flowers like these pink roses in a wooden box.

Pink in the Kitchen
This rug is so soft in color and charm. With the pattern and details- it absolutely knocked my socks off when I found it. And you know that barely blushing pink is perfection for my style. Its pink perfection landed in my kitchen. Why pink? Why pink goes with everything including copper, browns, silver, the taupe color of a crock, and even black. All of which are in my kitchen. This might be my forever pink.

Pretty in Pink
Pink is a perfect color match with browns and taupe.
My tips for decorating with pink in the home:
- Mix Pink with neutrals when adding to a room
- Start with a pop of pink flowers
- Add pink throw pillows to a neutral like brown

More on a season of pink!
I think that pink mixes perfectly with the brown brindle cowhide chairs. A perfect juxtaposition for the home.

Think Pink

Pink adds charm and femininity to a room. Pink can be used in various ways around the home through accent walls, statement pieces – furniture, to textiles and accessories. It adds whimsy, playfulness and a hint of warmth depending on the shade of pink.

I am always so inspired by rooms that are decorated in pink whether bold or simple touches pink brings a feminine and sweet feel to any space. This is how I decorate my home with my season for pink. I decorate with what makes me happy!
