A Quick Inspired Easter Table
Do you ever get inspired by a color? A flower? This table was a quick inspired Easter table from dishes with a lily motif. The lily motif sent me in search of an Easter Lily for my centerpiece. When I came across this pink lily it quickly became the new inspiration.

If there’s one thing I’ve always loved, it’s being in the creative world, and color plays a huge role in creativity. So, I played around with color. On this occasion, it was a set of napkins in a pink floral pattern that helped set this in motion and it seemed to snowball from there. I knew my plates had a black, gold and gray edging, but my thoughts didn’t see these colors for an Easter table. It was all about the lily and these pink floral napkins – with roses to be exact. Those napkins won’t match! Now everyone knows I don’t follow rules. What rules? I was once told that you should have one thing in your outfit that doesn’t match – And I’m not a matchy-match sort of gal. So why not in a tablescape?

I think I can pull it off! So, I decided to set the table ahead of time and snap just a few pictures to share. I styled the table for an Easter gathering and used just what we have around the house.

Plates with a Lily Motif & A Mismatch
A bit on the bold side- but so pretty- and if you are one to walk on the wild side of color and a mismatch this might be perfect for you. Simple and yet a bit elegant. A collected look. A simple white dinner plate with a gold rim (A wedding gift over 30 years ago.) layered with a black, gold and gray lily motif on white salad/bread plates with a small saucer for the dessert. This is how I took my in-style white dishes with a gold trim and dressed them up for a quick inspired Easter table.

Pink Inspired Floral Napkins
I do my best to spread joy and sprinkle everything with a little pretty – pretty in pink that is.

I folded the napkins and added them to the goblets, spread the top out for a blooming flower look.

Layering
A mix of crystal goblets and pink water glasses are layered together. So dainty and pretty, perfect for spring. All the glass elements were what I had on hand. Each layer adds additional warmth and a collected over- time look. Even though I went with a less is more approach, casual but still looks elegant. When I first set the table, there wasn’t a table linen, but I quickly decided to add a neutral linen runner for additional warmth.

I sprinkled some gold votives down the center of the table. Adding more warmth from the glow of the candles. I’m a sucker for anything with ambiance and sweet little votive candles scream ambiance.

Pink florals and glassware give all the spring vibes.

A Little Chocolate Bunny – A Bit of Whimsy
Everyone loves a little chocolate bunny -so he gets a spot at the table too.

Elevate the Everyday
With a little additional style to elevate the everyday – a vintage silver creamer and sugar bowl were added. My thinking was that they played nicely together with the gold, black, and gray rim on the salad and dessert plate in the lily motif dinnerware.

This is keeping my Easter dinner table on the small side from a weekend roundup of my inspired table ideas – from flowers to place setting touches. You can see another Easter table here.
