Ahh summer…. as summer comes to a close, I get to looking around my home at the hardworking areas of my home and realize that the bathrooms get hit the most. From working outside in the yard to roping in the arena we get dirty.
For a quick summer bathroom refresh- for a bathroom that is working overtime. How about a 5-minute makeover. I am all about those 5-minute makeovers with minimal fuss.

5 Minute Makeover Essentials
Essential Terry Towel
A classic loop terry towel in a fun pop of pink color. Sometimes I crave a pop of color or texture- and that is a perfect way to add that ‘bam!’ in the bathroom. It literally takes 5 minutes to do a quick refresh in the bathroom with a pretty stack of fresh new towels in a pretty color.
Board
A found -weathered wooden bathtub board is the ideal complement to your downtime. Adds plenty of space for a book, candles, bath salts, and relaxation necessities in one place, making self-care time a dream. A perfect spot to place soaps, a scrub brush or even candles and a small vase of flowers to enjoy while taking a soak.
Fresh Flowers
Add some fresh flowers straight from the garden. Of course, I think it’s always a good idea to add fresh flowers. Yes, even in the bathroom. I love to use them on the sink vanity and by the tub. Fresh flowers clipped from the yard or from your local market- it doesn’t matter- fresh flowers add an instant oomph to any room.
Soaps & Bath Salts
On a side stool for easy to reach, a collection of pretty bottles, a candle, stack of handmade soaps, and bath salts create a charming vignette. Did you know that bathroom decorating is a thing? Bathrooms deserve to look pretty too.

Keep it cozy! Candles add to the atmosphere of calm ambiance and a warm glow.
Vintage Bottles with Blooms
A simple, clear bottle that’s been found is ideal for showcasing flowers without introducing additional color or complexity.
