Romanticize Moments of Your Life
Happy April! Here we are slipping into spring with snow days, sunshine days, windy days and days that we have all three. I wish this weather would make up its mind. I have taken a moment to contemplate the days, consumed by the constant demands of household chores that consist of feeding horses, the cat, and the steer named Waldo. Most of my days pass by rather swiftly. Occasionally, I perceive such days as lacking appeal and being quite monotonous.

With the arrival of spring, the days are lengthening and becoming slightly warmer. We could spend more time outdoors if the weather cooperated, perhaps appreciating the sunshine and birdsong, despite the occasional spring snow. Spring brings a feeling for change. I’m wanting to be outside planting flowers and or riding my horse. Girls we just get the itch to make things pretty – maybe a little more romantic. I say this, but I don’t know if I have ever been romantic a day in my life! I believe that spring encourages us to romanticize our lives. Now what does that mean?

Mindful and Cognizant
I think that when we are mindful and cognizant to find joy and beauty in the everyday, we are romanticizing moments of our life. We are appreciating small moments and creating a sense of wonder and excitement, rather than focusing on the mundane. I’ve gathered a few simple ways that we can romanticize our lives or bring that vibe and energy into our day to day. Just simple reminders and ways to practice mindfulness of romanticizing our lives. I truly believe that the art of romanticizing one’s life begins with being mindful of the little things – blessings.
