A New Rug

A new rug, my new vintage inspired kitchen rug from Birch Lane is a Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines from the Loloi Sinclair collection.

The color is a clay and tobacco and is the most beautiful, fashion forward design for your home when it comes to rugs. The Sinclair area rug has an incredible softness. The collection is machine-washable, making it an ideal rug in high-traffic areas. This particular design features antique motifs with intricate details and slight distressing, creating a vintage storied feel. I am a huge vintage rug fan- but the price keeps me a bit off.

Vintage Rug Sprinkled with Charm

My quest for a vintage rug brought me to this – sprinkled with charm and a sweet blushing color.

Durability

The Loli Sinclair rug is made from polyester, recycled polyester and recycled plastic bottles. With a high durability – it is fade resistant, stain resistant, and water resistant and most of all, affordable. The color is clay (a muted pink) and tobacco with a small pop of turquoise blue. I’m kind of obsessed with that little pop of turquoise blue you see.

Big on Style

Living in the country with a whole lot of pea gravel and dirt just outside the doors, I tend to keep the main area floors bare for a simple and easy to keep clean look.  Choosing to add those touches of warmth with a soft rug here and there. Sometimes it’s the ones with an old dreamy texture, faded colors and muted patterns.  

Vintage Style Reproduction

Loloi Sinclair has beautiful new collection of antique inspired but new rugs. The vintage style rugs are at the best affordable prices. Loloi rugs are not the reproduction kind that show up and look a bit shiny. This rug is so soft in color with a muted look, soft texture, and soft charm. With the subtle pattern and details- it absolutely knocked my socks off when I found it. And you know that blushing pink or clay is perfection for my kitchen style.

I tend to be one of those who craves neutrals in most spaces but that said- show me a pattern and colors. I like to mix and mingle them here and there.
