I can’t think of a soul who doesn’t like to see and help themselves to a beautifully presented cheeseboard. Rustic handcrafted breadboards are a great way to display a collection of delicious nibbles – cheeses, crackers, fruit, nuts and wafer-thin slices of cured meats. It is a wonderful way to get a party started. Creating a great charcuterie board always starts with a great foundation. What’s best is a great wood breadboard, cutting board.
Do I have your attention?
Establishing the foundation to a charcuterie board starts with a nice size cutting board. I have you covered! A good surface is a must. I like using an extra-large, wooden cutting board…new or vintage I line the board with parchment paper.

Top to Bottom
Top – Top board made from rustic weathered reclaimed wood. Great for display of candles, candy dishes, or as a hot plate. If you are to use this for foods, Parchment paper required. Not food safe.
Middle – Middle board made from alder wood. Sealed with food grade mineral oil. Use at your discretion.
Bottom – (SOLD) board made from pine. Sealed with food grade mineral oil. Pine is a softer wood, and not always recommended for cutting boards because of its porous surface. Proper use and cleaning recommended.
These are your styles and sizes.
Pine and alder are soft woods and may quickly develop cut marks all over the surface. Stains as well. Please take note of proper usage and below tips.
To keep cutting boards deodorized and smelling fresh, simply wet the board, sprinkle with a little kosher salt, rub with a wedge of fresh lemon and allow to sit for about 20 minutes. Rinse and repeat if necessary. This also does a great job of removing stains without having to reach for the bleach bottle. Nora Murphy
Clean immediately. Soap and water if needed.
