Vintage Quilt Bunny Pillows

Add the warmth and coziness of yesteryear to your home with my handmade vintage quilt bunny pillows made from vintage quilted shams.

Large and small bunny pillows made from vintage quilted shams, in pretty pastel pinks, blues and greens. The back is a contrast fabric, and the others are from complimenting cream cotton fabric. The edges are left raw and trimmed with pinking shears for a rustic and refound look. These vintage quilted bunny pillows are perfect for cottagecore, shabby chic or country farmhouse style Easter decor.

Here’s the Scoop!

When a friend comes calling with quilted shams to discard… my creative wheels turned! So, patterns were hand-drawn the cutting, and the sewing commenced.

Variations

The quilt pattern varies on each rabbit with the ribbon at the neck being removeable. This is a one-of-a-kind item, upcycled from vintage quilt shams. Each rabbit pattern was meticulously hand-drawn and designed by myself. The large bunny pillow pattern was also designed and used here.

This is the smaller bunny. This is first rabbit pattern I developed. From the original pattern, I redrew and created my second pattern.

It Can Be Your Vintage Treasure

The bunnies’ sizes are:

Large Size: 22″ X 11″

Small Size: 14″ X 9″

Each quilted bunny is stuffed with Polyfil. I have handmade pom-poms for the bunnies’ tail. Please note: items are intended for decorative purposes only and are not toys. Each item is hand-cut, sewn, and stuffed by me in a smoke-free, pet-free home.

The quilted rabbits are perfect for accenting your favorite chair, adorning your bed, add it to a shelf, Easter basket, or accenting an Easter vignette. Perfect for serving as a sweet gift for someone special or better yet, keep it for yourself.

All quilted fabrics have been washed and cleaned by me. Any imperfections in the fabric or stitching simply add to the character of the finished product.

Quilted Eggs

Small, – 6″ X 4 1/2″, quilted egg pillows, sold in a set of five. I have two sets. They too are handcrafted from vintage quilted shams. The colors are pastel pinks, blues and greens with the backs in a complimenting fabric. These delightful mini pillows are great little bowl or basket fillers for home decor.

Mad About Plaid

Maybe not so feminine? I have mad about plaid bunnies. These bunnies are sewn from new fabrics that are snuggly and soft. Unfortunately, they too are not recommended as toys.
