Summer is fast approaching! As alfresco dining and barbequing become the main attraction in our lives you won’t want to do entertaining without mango salsa. Well, if you like mangos that is. I did not create this recipe but found it on an internet search.
This simple and colorful mango salsa is super easy to make! It’s sweet, spicy and absolutely delicious. Serve this fresh mango salsa with chips, on tacos or salads, or as a salad itself. It’s that good. This salsa is perfectly balanced; it’s sweet, savory, and only a little spicy.

Juicy mangoes, lime juice, red onions, peppers, jalapeno peppers and cilantro, just 6 ingredients and minutes to make – the time it takes to cut a few ingredients and mix. The best part of making this mango salsa is that it takes out the guesswork and guarantees you a tested and delicious recipe.

The Best Mango Salsa Recipe
- 3 ripe mangos, diced – or 2 – 3 cans of mango work as well
- 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped
- ½ cup chopped red/purple onion
- ¼ cup packed fresh cilantro leaves, chopped or 1 bundle of fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
- 1 large lime, juiced (about ¼ cup lime juice)
- ⅛ to ¼ teaspoon sea salt, salt to taste
Instructions
- In a serving bowl, combine the prepared mango, bell pepper, onion, cilantro and jalapeño. Drizzle with the juice of one lime.
- Using a large spoon, stir the ingredients together. Season to taste with sea salt and stir again. For best flavor, let the salsa rest for 10 minutes or longer.
Storage
Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to several days. Honestly, I’ve never had too many leftovers to store! It is best fresh! In fact, I get asked to make this quite often!
