Summer and mango salsa. Summer is such a fun season for entertaining so why not serve it up with some fresh mango salsa. This salsa recipe is one of our favorites!

Fresh mango salsa is a simple salsa full of flavor. Fresh mango salsa is a recipe that uses fresh ingredients is easy to prepare and delicious too, of course! The only thing better than chips and salsa is homemade salsa and chips! The best part of making this mango salsa is that it takes out the guesswork and guarantees you a tested and delicious recipe.

Mango Salsa Ingredients
- Juicy mangoes
- Red/purple onion
- Red or Yellow Bell pepper
- Jalapeno pepper
- Cilantro
- Limes – lime juice

Directions for Mango Salsa:
- 3 ripe mangos, diced – or 2 – 3 cans of mango work as well
- 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped
- ½ cup chopped red/purple onion
- ¼ cup packed fresh cilantro leaves, chopped or 1 bundle of fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
- 1 large lime, juiced (about ¼ cup lime juice)
- ⅛ to ¼ teaspoon sea salt, salt to taste

Instructions
- In a serving bowl, combine the prepared cubed mango, bell pepper, onion, cilantro and jalapeño. Drizzle with the juice of one lime.
- Using a large spoon, stir the ingredients together. Season to taste with sea salt and stir again. For best flavor, let the salsa rest for 10 minutes or longer.
- After mixing everything together- squeeze the lime or lemon juice into it
and sprinkle your salt, to taste, if you are using it and mix again.
You can start enjoying right away or chill it. I recommend tasting to make sure it is to your liking and then cover and chill it for a bit to let the flavors really mingle.

I am a salsa kind of girl- so for me- it is perfect for setting out to enjoy as an appetizer. The best salsa is fresh in my opinion~ and it is so simple to make in just a few minutes. Pair with a bowl of tortilla chips or use as a salsa on grilled chicken or fish tacos.
Enjoy! Happy Summer!
