A Cozy Blue and White Spring Breakfast – Tablescape
All set with a cozy blue and white spring breakfast – tablescape.

If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been absent for a while. Due to some technical difficulties with my space here. I recently decided that this space needed a makeover and some serious updates. So, my quest began to reintroduce myself and give this space some extras. With that being said, things got a little out-of-hand with subject matters being lost and quite misplaced for some time. I’m not sure that I’m finished as of yet but thinking that this will do for a bit.
Spring is close my friends! I can sure feel it. When we had a brief, short-lived break, from the serious cold and snow, I’m sure that this just amplified my longing for some spring weather.
All this said, I’ve really been inspired to continue to bring spring into more spaces in our home. Since we can’t be outside eating at bistro tables in the garden or sitting on the patio… This being, the sunniest location of our home, I played around with creating a little spot, other than the kitchen island and dining table, to feel like we were having a cozy breakfast al fresco.

Today is All about that spring look. From the setting up of this little round vintage table, I brought the outdoors in by adding our outdoor wicker chairs. For the table came blue and white textiles with varied patterns that remain in the blue and white. For the chairs, I cozied them up by adding blue seat cushions and white lumbar pillow.

The wicker chairs provide that sense of charm and added casual feel. I love the woven look with the fabric covered table. A mix of casual and a bit of elegance.
Garden Textiles
A little secret to the tablecloth, runner, and napkins. The tablecloth is a new flat queen size sheet from Tommy Hilfiger and the runner and napkins are April Cornell. Secret: the runner and napkins are all tea towels. You may shop the look of the runner, and napkins here at April Cornell.
I simply coordinated the look. The colors lay upon color, varying but still belonging together. I let go of the need to find the perfect match. Using April Cornell fabrics to build upon each other with coordinating prints. Not a perfect match, just perfectly beautiful.

Since I don’t have an exact match for the sheet set, I have attached a great alternative with a Lattice logo here from Tommy Hilfiger. An alternative that will give more of that outdoor feel.
On The Table
A key to my outdoor table is this white Mikasa brand dinnerware in the Trellis pattern. You can add this to your collection from here: Mikasa

I just love this cozy space and how it makes me feel.
French Press
A little French Press coffee anyone?

This little French press coffee pot was a recent purchase from Marshalls. Just another cute little serving element to add to that garden/outdoor feel.
The mugs are also a recent Marshalls’ purchase that just happened to coordinate well with the April Cornell fabrics.

Added Personality
Flowers of course! Simple, and such a pretty little bouquet of grocery store flowers in a vintage Kerr jar. Fresh flowers add that ‘just something special’ feeling to the table.

Breakfast, brunch anyone? Heart shaped waffles, cereal, and fresh pears.

And just like that you have a welcoming space for the incoming spring season. I hope you enjoyed this simple take, and are excited to start styling for Spring like I am. I hope this tablescape inspires you.

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today and every other day!
Happy Wednesday!
