A Thanksgiving Table – Romantic Inspiration & Simplicity
A Thanksgiving table with romantic inspiration and simplicity, a little sprinkle of ambiance and romantic charm and a little bit of whimsy – giant pumpkins. You know, Cinderella needed a giant pumpkin – I thought I needed one or nine. A Thanksgiving table with traditional beautiful rich autumn colors. Today I am sharing a closer look at this table and a few tips for creating a Thanksgiving table centerpiece using natural elements.
Thanksgiving Table Centerpiece
This is definitely an autumn centerpiece – A Thanksgiving table with romantic inspiration and simplicity. A large hurricane, large and small pumpkins marching down the center of the table add a touch of whimsy to the table – adding elegance and maximum charm.
Table Centerpiece Details
I incorporated some of my favorite ways to decorate. Using natural elements such as pumpkins, gathered leaves, and dried oranges. Taking inspiration from Mother Nature. I love the rich colors they bring to the canvas drop-cloth tablecloth. I also grabbed a few twigs from the yard and tucked them in as well.
Cozy Autumn Ambiance
When I think of a cozy autumn- Thanksgiving table with romantic inspiration and simplicity, I think of all the candlelight, a warm fire in the woodstove and wrapping up in a warm blanket to soak it all up. When it comes to entertaining- even for two, it is all about that cozy ambiance and creating that feeling also. Candlelight warmth is added with brass candleholders, a large hurricane, and votives scattered throughout. There is nothing quite like the soft flicker and glow from candles marching down the center of the table. My favorite tip with candles is to vary their heights for layers of ambiance and also bring in more than you think you need for extra dazzle.
Table Details & Linens
Since this was a simple table for two- I didn’t add too many place setting details for this styling. Just stacked the white plates, added vintage silver flatware and a couple of favorite gold rimmed goblets. The tablecloth is a painter drop cloth and the napkins are collected dish towels from years past.
