Giving thanks with a bold and beautiful table. A walk on the wilder more traditional side of autumn with rich colors and bold and beautiful pumpkins and foliage. With rich oranges and pops of reds- this foliage definitely says autumn in a beautiful way. If you are one of those who love more pop of pretty for autumn- this table is for you!
A Natural Neutral Tablecloth
A painters drop cloth in neutral pallet sets the stage for an autumn inspired table- I love how the soft neutral canvas plays so perfectly with the oranges and browns.
These dishes are some of my Fall favorites. Woodland Pheasant Dinnerware from the Royal Stafford collection. The glassware and flatware are both collected. Using woven grass placemats elevate the pheasant plates and add to a warm casual feel. All add to giving thanks with a bold and beautiful table.
Nothing elevates a dinner table from everyday to elegant like crisp, clean linens. Two slightly different looks. The first, I used cream linen purchased at a retail store. In my opinion the cream adds a bit more formal look, and the second look is with serape style cloth napkins, which add a less formal more of a relaxed fun feel, these were purchased years past from Lorec Ranch.
Centerpiece of Pumpkins and Foliage
Bold and beautiful pumpkins, large and baby boos, and foliage for autumn is on repeat. What I love about this centerpiece? It is so easy to layer down on the table, added leaves, a few picks from Joann’s, simple votive candles in collected jars all to enjoy in just a few minutes. This centerpiece is all about those shades of rich colors that come with autumn. From colorful leaves to pretty pumpkins and lots of layers of lovely.
Candles, Candlelight & Ambiance
Ambiance is always something that is key to creating a mood and the setting. And ambiance is one of my favorite things about any gathering- and so, it is always one of the first things I think of when planning. Here I’m sharing a few simple and easy ways to add that all important mood factor. The candles are simple collected brass candlesticks, a large hurricane, and several votives in gathered jars.
Different candles, complementing colors make this table unique and fun! Maybe, saying elegant, but not too overly done. There is nothing quite like the soft flicker and glow from candles. My favorite tip with candles is to vary their heights for layers of ambiance and also bring in more than you think you need for extra dazzle.
