A New Season, A New Month
October 3, 2017
September was a complete blur!
I have been crazy busy. Busy as a bee. Busy doing my real job, busy trying to rope, and busy trying to blog.
To Do or Not to Do, that is the question.
With team roping the season never ends.
The weather just changes and the roping event moves to a different venue.
For now, I am still enjoying some of the remaining day light and warm temperatures.
Lingering outside for just a bit longer to enjoy my horse.
With some sadness to we have said goodbye to summer’s
warm weather and long days of sunlight.
So long summertime and easy living!
It is now a new season, Fall (Autumn) and a new month, October.
Time is flying. Before you know it, it will be Christmas,
and I have now skipped two of
my favorite holidays, Halloween and Thanksgiving.
Yep, it’s that time of year.
Time for crisp mornings, hot cocoa, warm fires outdoors,
warm knits, and boots.
That time when pumpkins and soft candlelight dress the table.
Oh, don’t forget those fiery roses!
Well with that being said, my decorating for the season is behind.
So far it’s been the simple touch of
Roses and pumpkins – the unexpected fall fare.
Being a bit of a traditionalist, orange is for the new month.
For me it would stand to reason that these fiery colored roses would make it home
with my orange pumpkins.
With a rustic, country-white stool a fall display appears.
Baby pumpkins and fiery roses in a bucket.
Trying to achieve a fall vibe using pumpkins and fiery colored roses.
Keeping my container simple. A simple rustic bucket. My favorite!:)
Just a bucket of fiery colored roses and a pumpkin.
Through out my house autumn appears in small snip-its.
This year… a bit of nontraditional Autumn décor.
Just a peek at the rustic and refound display.
The shadows of evening…
chasing the light.
The warm glow of candlelight.
Happy Autumn!

Love it!!!
