A Cozy Spring Fireside

Are you ready for warmer spring weather? I sure am! We are sure having some crazy weather with continued snowstorms of couple of inches snow here and there. I am kind of over it, frankly. Since we continue with winter weather, I find that these erratic winter/spring afternoons were meant to be, sheltering from stormy skies with a cup of coffee or tea by a roaring fire in my Quadra-Fire wood stove.
A Quadra-Fire Wood Stove Compliments Any Rustic Setting
Simple and warm decorating style with natural materials, the presence of wood, neutral hues, in a practical and functional room. This is our great room. The perfectly rustic style of Rustic and Refound ranch style house complimented by a wood stove that makes for the coziest of days.

When we started the idea of building a home, this style of fireplace was only a twinkle in my eye. I had pinned this style of fireplace with a free-standing stove over and over again. Because I loved the English cottage, Old World European style. This concept only became a reality when a builder told my husband and I that this style of fireplace with a woodstove heated his 6,000 square foot home. Then we both became a believer. We then needed to compromise on the type of stove: gas, pellet or wood. My husband always wanted a woodstove, and I was on the fence between pellet and wood. My husband’s idea won out, and I really couldn’t be happier.
Quadra-Fire
With much research and with the availability in our area the Quadra-Fire wood stove won our hearts. The Quadra-Fire 4300 Step Top design allows you to customize the look and feel what works for your space. In other words, there are a couple of styles available along with finishes and base options. The Quadra-Fire stove was designed with an easy operation in mind. This was for us.
Quadra-Fire technology uses the Automatic Combustion Control (ACC) making this stove easy to light and allows you to give it a boost of air anytime the fire needs it. Don’t worry, once the ACC (damper –Automatic Combustion Control (ACC) is an advanced heat-management technology from Quadra-Fire takes over. The ACC technology delivers precision start-up and air control for consistent burns. The ACC, damper, feeds the fire with air when it’s needed most—and controls it for consistent, extended burns.) Once the ACC is engaged you can just walk away and enjoy your day, it will close automatically in about 20 minutes. This stove comes equipped with a fan to push the heat out into the room.

This is the 4300 Step Top with Queen Anne legs. Of course, I wanted a stove with great looking legs.
